well I guess they used anything they could for parts back in the 1800s I am doing up a old roulette wheel I and under they have used a very old token for a plate. thought I would show you the picture any way would anyone now why it has no numbers on the wheel just a 0 and a picture of a crown I don't think this one is fake any way does anyone have some photos of coins and tokens used in weird ways no I have seen a holey dollar as a washer on a te20 tractor to seal the petrol line
That is pretty cool! Maybe the wheel was used more as a prize wheel? As in different colors were for different prizes possibly as a way to get around gambling laws perhaps this is a very old repaint? I'm no expert but I know there is a market for these things so someone out there probably knows.
thanks SRCLIFF I thought it was just interesting I like coins and there was a old token being used as a bas plate I would say its been there a long time
