If you bought silver from APMEX, what do you get? Is it high grade coins, or just random silver? I am wondering if I should buy from APMEX to get some nice coins.

Thanks.

Don't expect to find any collector grade coins in anything APMEX sells unless they list it as a collector coins. You sure as heck won't find anything higher than MS-67 in the bullion stuff and you can expect the usual G-VG with a few F/VF's in the mix for junk silver.

If it isn't listed as a collector coin, then it isn't one. If the coins you are buying is a collector coin, then they will list the grade and I've bought BU Mexican Gold from them before and haven't been disappointed.

it really depends on what you want to spend money wise.
Silver rounds are OK, but they charge 2.50-3.00 over spot PER round.

The Morgan dollars that are GRADED are the best choice. If you spend 55.00 a piece on ms63 graded morgans, its a good price, considering most may NOT have been looked over for VAM's. Additionally grading servives are typically 10.00 or more apiece, and they are guaranteed authentic silver coins. Since they are graded it saves some cash.

Commemoratives are typically the lower priced coins, and can range in price. APMEX offers MS69 and PF69 Commemoratives for sale, between 30-35 bucks each.

As for bulk purchases, expect A LOT of DUPES, especially if you intend to buy Morgans or Peace dollars.

They also have a clearance section if you really don't know what you want, and may just impulse buy something.

Your question was pretty wide open, We have no idea what you collect, or wish to collect, other than it could be a silver purchase.

for 100 ounces of silver or more, go to Golden State Mint.

I've had great results through APMEX. No complaints.

It's always a good idea to shop around too.

I have had very few problems with APMEX. They always seem to have relatively fair prices compared to most other places. I would suggest getting pre-33 gold from APMEX because you can get some pretty great prices. However, my father placed a sizable order with APMEX ($1,000+) and the box was PLACED IN THE MAILBOX. Luckily, LUCKILY, we live in a gated community... I would request from APMEX before you order, if it's a pricy order, to write on the box for you to have to sign for it.
They have a huge inventory with lots of great coins.
My first order from APMEX was several silver bars and coins and some PCGS Peace dollars in MS64. My next order was a MS69 Silver Eagle PCGS for $27 and some other slabs for the type set. I like fantasizing and adding hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of items in my cart and just... Imagining! (Don't judge
They have some HIGH grade Morgans, too... A MS-68, several 67's and tons of 66s. Highly suggested you buy from the APMEX site directly and not the ebay bullion center, simply because of better prices.

I have no complaints with APMEX for my limited experience with them.

Every now and then APMEX runs great sales.

Depending on what you are looking for, check website prices against silvertown, MCM, etc...
