I wasnt going to post this But changed my mind this seems like doubling in the N and G

looks more like the N was squashed/flattened by something

Looks so different with the loupe haha but does seem to have a spread the G is really all that came up in the pic... Its pretty cool
Seems as thought the lower part of the G has a split serif

I can see the split serif in the G also, I cannot tell with the N.

I personally don't see enough to merit calling this a DDO.
There isn't enough thickness difference to call it anything than another quarter from what I can see.

Take a look here for signs of a 1951 DDO;

isn't any doubling enough to merit calling it a ddo(r) respectively? Whether minor or massive? But yes like I said I almost didnt post it.. Just trying to put some new stuff out there.. I've learned my camera isn't the best on minor doubling for capture but does great on the larger more prounounced stuff like this kennedy

I agree, Even so called minor doubling is still doubling. Doesn't have to look like that '55. Although it would be sweet if it did.

Yes indeed a double is a double.. I wanna train my eye for lincoln cents.. Now that eludes me.. Rpms I find but those ddo(r) very hard one for my eye to spot... I need a 15x loupe hahaha
