As some of you may know, I got my lovely NEARLY problem-free Trade dollar back from PCGS with the designation of Genuine RimDmg - VF Details. PCGS values it WITHOUT the rim damage at $250-300. Depending on how much value it detracts, I might sell it to save up for a problem-free one. At least it's authentic. NOTE: The square shadow is my cellphone taking the picture

That's not awful, should take off 40% of the value.

Based on completed ebay listings, I would guess it is worth about $150

I'm going to invent a time travel machine that scans coins and shows a flowchart of all the damages that has happened to them. I'll scan it, find the ding, travel back in time, and catch the dollar before they drop it. Ta-dah!

It's a shame - this one's not as "damaged" as most others in a Genuine slab, and doesn't deserve the same knock. However, it's a pretty common issue and available in far higher grades. I don't think I'd keep it, since better ones are so easily found, but you're going to get hurt on the flip.

Take 40% off of yours and take 60% off of mine.

Well, I don't really remember where I got it and how much I payed... So I suppose it's not much of a loss? I have a whole lot of fishy coins in my collection that I don't remember dropping any sum of money for. Some of the most valuable coins in my unslabbed collection include a 1915 Barber half, AU 1899 Morgan, low-grade 1875-S 20-cent. Those are a minimum of $150 each, but there's no way I had that much money to spend when I was so young when I purchased them. but I'm not complaining.

That's cleaned too. I'd say it's worth maybe $100.

Cleaned also? I don't see that it looks cleaned, but I could be mistaken. I would guess that PCGS would have marked it as improperly cleaned if it was. But then again would they mark it with 2 designnations? (ie Rim damage and improperly cleaned?)

They highlight the bigger issue, IIRC.

depending on what you want for it, I would be very interested (I tried to send you a PM but it qwould not let me). I am going to put it in an album anyhow so I am not too concerned about rim damage (now if it was cleaned that would be a turn-off. Let me know if you are looking to get rid of it.
