Hi folks,

Before anyone asks, I am incapable of uploading images!

Need your help. On one side of coin is the number 19 within an orb with a cross on top. The cross separates date 1749. To left of orb is 'C1', to right of orb is 'R'. The reverse side has crowned double eagle with 'two' Coats of Arms/Crests separating them.

I hate it when I can't get the darn images uploaded, but, anyway, I hope someone will be able to tell me something about what I've described.

Thanks... Dan

Hmm, very tough with only words!

The double-headed eagle is fairly common as a symbol. Austria was the biggest user of it, but I can't rule out the bajillions of other German states of the time because I don't know enough about them.

There's also the chance it's a jeton or a token.

Designs of the various denominations were quite similar; in the absence of images, we'll need diameter and weight to be able to help at all. Why can't you upload images? CCF can accept images from any type of electronics - computer, tablet, cellphone, toaster....
