I got this out of a lot of 6 morgans from e-bay

You can easily see the crossbar of the 7 in the 8 in hand.
grading with photograde I give it a VF/EF but using the back of the comprehensive encyclopedia I might stretch it to EF/AU since it is a C reverse. am I to optomistic? and What is going on with the edges? they look like one set layered over another.
I do think it has been dipped or something, since it doesn't cartwheel well. and I can see hairlines under 60 power on the obv.
the reverse has no hairlines and does still have some cartwheel effect. Even though it is cleaned, I am fairly happy with it.
I scanned the reverse flat and the obverse through angled glass according to a hint I got here, but I still need to work on the look. Maybe I need photoshop?
