I have about 25 Morgans and want to learn the ' VAM' process. What is the best way to learn how to determine the varieties available?

I checked out vamworld.wikispaces.com, but found it lacking of images.

Where should I go to next?

Thanks!

The encyclopedia is a helpful book and I go to the VAM update website at times as well http://www.ashmore.com/vamupdate/
I am trying to attribute my Morgans so I can sell some of my duplicates so I can start getting the more expensive years and MM.
I warn you, it can be very frustrating at times, but very satisfying when you do figure one out. I recently found a 1880 P VAM 6 I posted in the variety & error forum, and I am trying to nail down a 1878 from the same lot I won on e-bay. pics there when I do get it.
good luck.

Be aware, Vaslin, that the Encyclopedia has not been updated in print for many years. Although it's accurate, it is thousands of VAM's short of the total, the ones that have been discovered since the last printing. These days, I have to split my time between the Encyclopedia, Ashmore and VAMWorld to get enough data to attribute. Sometimes I also pull up Heritage zrchived results to try and find pics of a given VAM.

Sometimes you just ain't sure until you find someone who has one of their own. One of the Morgans I have on ebay right now was like that - I didn't get a good attribution until one of the bidders hooked me up.
