hi all first time noodling some US coins I have a 1958 the look is not the same as others colour is wrong and it has some dots under the 8 and between the in were these faked or forged

If its a circulated cent, it could have happened anywhere along its path.

1958 is a common Lincoln Cent, so there wouldn't be much cause to create a forgery. Interesting anomaly though. It looks like raised relief.
