hi folks, well this coin came in a bunch I bought the other day. its interesting and I just don't know errors that well. so hence I throw it to you to see. let me know what you think. my first impression is post mint damage, but the rim is just a bit weird for me to throw it in the junk pile. it is silver though.

To me it looks like it was heated and filed. USUALLY a capped die is only on one side. This coin jut looks too odd for me to call it an authentic error.

There are others in here like Mike Diamond who might waltz in and give their "two bits worth".
