What would you grade the below coin?

Also, does this toning look normal / natural? This coin has been in storage with a number of other Trade dollars for 30+ years and this one has acquired the most toning by far.

As always, thanks in advance for your input.

that is amazing!! Not sure on NT, but if it acquired this in 30 years of storage, it probably is. Did you or someone older than you see what it looked like before it went into storage...not that most would remember, but you never know.

I think the way the tone on the fields stays well away from the devises and motto in areas is an indicator of a dip in the past. I agree with AU and regardless of NT or AT I like it.

Thanks Johnny54321, IndianGoldEagle, and Dave700x for the feedback.

Regardless of clean, dip, etc... it is a magnificent coin in hand. While not worth as much as the CC Trade dollars it was stored with, I think this is my favorite.

Unfortunately I have no idea of how it looked prior to storage. It was purchased by my Grandfather and then straight into a vault.

What is the best way to "preserve" this coin? A TPG slab or another method?

I would suggest a TPG slab to best preserve it in the present state with ANACS being the least costly. The tone will continue to progress until it reaches the terminal state which is black and the more exposure to the ambient climate the faster the process.

I can see it's already been graded, the PCGS TrueView background is still visible).

Au details, questionable color. I see obverse hairlines from an old wiping too.
