Hope the Spanish coin is a good grade but I doubt the SA is worth much.

The south african coin is worth a lot to me, it is part of my history, of where we where who we fought paul kruger on the coin was fighting for our independance from england, there was 2 wars anglo boer war, in the first one we picked them off but the next one the kick our butt lol

I have a medal from the war you mentioned.....my relative your relatives I guess.1st royal dragoons.....in terms of the coin market.........the Spanish coin is worth far more..

Oh yes for sure the spanish is worth much more, I picked up the coin for 8 uk pounds give or take I made a ring from the same coin just the year was 1896 I will post a pick

8 quid for the Spanish coin I think is quite good value. It might be worth like 20 euros or so, I might be wrong but I remember buy coins like that is okay condition for about that.

You made a ring out of an old Spanish coin?

Read the numbers inside every of the two stars close to the year under the king Alfonso XII bust and write here for valuation. Must be 18 - 76 if readable. 8.547.961 coins minted. Also please weight. Around 20 euros if not a fake

24.8g with 76 in right hand star..........even in Krause which always under values coins it says 200 dollars in XF........so where you get 20 euros from I have no idea.

An "EF40" 2 1/2 shillings from South Africa is on our local bidding site for approximately $290.00 at the moment. Just saying.
