Partial Plating Errors?

I'm pretty sure these are partial plating errors, but thought I would check in with CCF and see what everyone thinks.

I found both of these roll hunting, and have another somewhere, and they all look the same. They all have that light grey patch in the center, with one patch on either side of the coin.

If these coins are what I think they are, the error occurred when they were taking their copper dip, correct? What made them become partially plated on both sides?

Not partially plated, genuine errors have a markedly different appearance-

Partial-Plating-Errors?

Heating a Zincoln can give it the effect seen on your coins.

Yes, that is a genuine partially plated Lincoln and the zinc exhibits nice luster.
