I bought this for a buck. It's in terrible condition as there is a hole in it but I noticed when I got home that the die is rotated, it looks like the queen is falling backwards.
Plus it sort of looks like it's brass but I doubt that to be the case
thought it was sorta neat...

about the hole..anyways your coin is rotated approx. 40.50 degrees.

That is an interesting coin maybe someone will chime in and tell you what variety.

Is there some way to tell if it's a brass cent or not? It looks light in colour and it could be just worn out and bleached copper but if there's a chance that it's brass I'd like to somehow find out...

very common to find with die rotation on 1859 LC. Not brass for sure.
