Found this on ebay. The toning looks odd to me. What do you think?

Lovely coin. I'm thinking the differing compositions of the "woody" just caused them to age at different rates, and the lighter areas are closer to mint Red. Original, and a real keeper. And yeah, a good 64.

Thanks guys for the info.
I'll agonize over this one. I hope someone buys it before I pay too much!

Nice woody. Just wondering what is keeping this from a 65?

That is a beauty! I'd go 65BN!

Eye appeal is amazing! I would say it was a matter of luster and eye appeal for the 65/66. Some like color, others not. I don't see anything in the the fields and the tie looks flawless. This is a stunner and I am jealous!

Thats a nice one. I found it, but was unable to bring myself to buy it at that price.

All's fair in love, war, and coin bidding!

I hope it's relisted at a better price or with a best offer option.
I'd be surprised if it sold at that price.

I'm not so sure now. It's re-listed...but if you look at the sellers other lincoln's...they have the same "zebra striped" color. A few almost look identical to this one. I don't know, it's a little odd to me to have so many with the same look.

That is a beautiful coin, I'd have to see it in hand to pull the trigger at that price though.

I saw a couple other woodies the seller had but none looked like this one. Not sure what you were looking at ksmcents.

The 42-s isn't quite the same...not saying it's not possible. Just makes me leery.

Wow, the eye appeal is definitely off the charts, but he's asking for 65 money and 64 is less than half that. I would for sure want to see this coin in hand for luster and to see better in the toned area. All in all, that is a seriously awesome looking coin!
