Hi guys...Take a look at this 1919s cent..Is the stamp mark "S" inverted or am I not good with American coins..?
Also why are the two "9's" a different shape..Thanks.

looks normal to me? "the round is on the ground" I remember this phrase the round part of the font is always on the bottom. The only invert mint mark I know is the 1946-S.

that looks like a MMS-002 an small S which looks like a inverted largge s here is a list of fonts used

Awesome wert, I can understand, I just started collecting 4 months ago myself and recently I just started collecting Canadian cents I still cant figure out for the life of me what a hanging digit is. I was checking them for the same errors as US coins when they each have there own type of errors.

OcalaFlorida...Here is one of many I have..this one is a little defferent, it is a ""hanging bud""...as you can see from my 1979 cent..See how it is attached to the leaf..

The mint mark looks normal from what I can see.
it should be the MMS-002 for that year (1917-1941-S):

On the Canadian cent it must be a stain as there is nothing going on in that area for a clash.

oh my...that makes cents (sense)... I was looking for the clash to line up with the date instead of the bud.. no wonder I never found a hanging 1979...I think understand the clash concept just was looking for raised one simular to Lincoln Cent nt just the coloring, either way I still never seen one I think, maybe.. let me dig out my Canadian Cent rolls.. they are getting harder to get here in my area of Florida as they are becoming popular to collect among Lincoln Cent people locally.
