Is There Any Way To Restore Dates On Dateless Standing Liberty Quarter / SLQ S?

I've heard that someone destroyed half of an SLQ while trying to restore the date, so my hopes aren't high. Report this Post to the Staff

Yeah, that was probably me. I think what I said was that I turned it into a 14 cent piece. I had it suspended in nitric acid and it completely dissolved about 1/3 of the coin. I tried my best to bring back the dates with nitric acid but only achieved very limited success. So limited as to not be worth doing... Report this Post to the Staff
