Thanks for the tutorial! Under the microscope they seem easy to spot. Are they obvious under a loupe?
Is the surface pitting just aging then? is that line extending up and to the left from the "liberty" shield a die crack from the original coin, usd to make the tranfer die, or the transfer die itself?
And sensei, what is up with your sig?

On this coin, it is not hard to spot the transfer marks with a loupe of 10 power. The die crack is actually not a die crack at all. It is an old cleaning line. It looks much different in person.

The signature line? Actually a spinoff quote from an late Rush album added to my sense of humor. Always seems to make people ask me "why".
