Do the surfaces look OK from these images on this 23 SLQ? I want to believe but...... I'm afraid it's been polished even though the details are very strong.

Details look strong, but the luster seems awkward. Most likely cleaned and polished.
But maybe the lighting is playing a trick on this one......?

I'm looking for hairlines on the raised parts but I don't see any. The luster is awkward which is what is throwing me but lighting can be so deceiving.

Even the white of the background is way off color.

Besides the surfaces being off, the details appear to be as well, especially on the eagle's head and lady liberty from the waist up. It could just be the lighting, but that coin doesn't look genuine to me... I could be wrong.

The strike looks almost to good to be true; full-head SLQs are worth quite a bit of money.

If you don't mind my asking; where did you get this coin, and for how much?

I haven't acquired it yet. I am wondering the same thing about how sharp the details are. Could that really be a genuine strike? I have never seen a strike like that. It must be fake. The 23-P is not that hard to find in FH but this is almost beyond belief full.

Coin has been, heavily, heavily polished. Detail is very strong though, seems like a nice strike too.

Personally I don't like it. It looks "off" Something just doesn't look right about the lettering on the obv. Strangely mushy and rounded. Just from the picture I'm better than 75% sure it's a fake.

It also looks fake to me. It almost looks like a proof bullion piece. Ask for better pictures and maybe there will be a clearer consensus.
