The photos of the edge aren't great, sorry.
33mm diameter. Smaller than I expected.
Have the rims been flattened causing the "valley" around the edge or is this the result of the minting process?

I believe it is an artifact of late die-state combined with wear.

Looks like the coin may have been bent and then straightened out. The wear pattern is that of a bent coin.
