I cant resist picking up these when ever I see them for a good deal. I picked up another circulated example of the 1956D-1MM-001 (RPM#1)/FS-501 this one is a late stage example of the variety as listed on Coppercoins.com and in the CherryPickers Guide.
I found this die as my first RPM. I was searching circulated wheat cents. I was told it was worth $2.50 ten and if it were a BU coin then it would be worth $25. So I switched to searching BU coins. More money on the finds in them. Now the rolls have run out and I'm back to searching circulated coins.
I noticed some circulated rpm's are going for double or triple coppercoin prices lately on auction and BUs are going double. I but 20-30 rpms or DDO / DDR every week and last two weeks I see an increase in bids to about $10-12 on examples that used to be $2-6 pickups
