This is going to be very difficult to attribute without any visible legend. The only thing I can say a this point is that it's very late Roman era.

It's a nummus of Leo I, Eastern Roman emperor. The reverse depicts his wife Verina standing holding a cross on globe and scepter:

Very nice, as VK says, its Leo, with Verina on the reverse. A rare coin.

I wouldn't call it rare. More like scarce. Not as common as other late Roman bronze types but enough around that they are affordable, although high-grade examples will set you back a bit. My only one of this type was a mere $8:

You flatter me good sir A while ago I almost got a cheap but nicer upgrade of this type but by the time I was ready to buy (had been stuck on the wagon) it had already sold . Oh well. But if I ever do get the itch again to upgrade I know at least a couple of places I could turn to.

Thanks for the info greatly appreciated I'm new to IDling these coins I do have a few of them sent to me over 30 some years from a friend over seas she's no longer with us and this is a nice way to remember her last count have over 3200 coins most are field finds by her and friends I did find a few my self from the times I visited her.
So will probably be asking for lots of help and info hopefully ill learn some about IDling by the time I'm done and can return the help thanks again

i wouldn't have figured that out, I wasn't even familiar with that reverse. what an interesting little coin.
