I would very much like to see any 1911 Specimen sets here ..


...and most importantly,..I'm hoping to see the original (red leather) case that it should have come in. Anybody..?

I've asked this before but not on the Canadian form here.

Actually... I did get to see the dollar up close and in it's rightful spot in the set. It was in the 80's and in Montreal. .


..but what I would like to see is the "5 specimen 1911 coins" in their original red leather case here....or just the red leather Specimen case will also do.

I want to compare the specimen cases with the one that I have.

Thanks pennyman..!! That is sooo beautiful and the way that our sets should be presented.

My coins are in their ICCS flips which do not present well compared to what your set looks like here..




Here is how my case looks.. and my cent is lacquered...and the silvers are darker than those showing here.

6 grand is no money for a pristine 11 set in the OE case,..."if" that set offered was indeed pristine..
