ASLAN TVorlon Pillar of the Community United States 1234 Posts	Posted 05/08/2014 2:12 pm I have been asking my LCS guy for a year about a silver round with a lion on it, he finally got one for me. It's from Coeur D'Alene Mines, dated 1985 it has a serial number on the edge 4523. I almost said no when he asked $25 for it then he said he has customers that collect items from local mines and he could get $35 for it but because it had a lion he held it back for me. Not my picture, I'll have to get a good one of it and I still have not gotten my camera setup worked out. So is the serial number of any real importance? And is there usually a big market or at least interest in collecting from local mines? Edit: I have not found much online about the Coeur D'Alene Mines, being almost 30 years old that mine may have dried up or changed names, any ideas on them either? I know high and low numbers are considered more valuable on art and bullion can be counted as art.
