I have only 9 more varieties to go in my quest to complete a set of Classic Head Half Cents (out of 24 total excluding 1831 and proofs). I haven't started the other 1/2C series yet, but probably will when I start trying to find the 1811's and 1809 C-1 in decent condition. Here is another very recent pickup. 1829, while being a R1, is not an easy date to find, particularly this nice. Thoughts on a grade?

I'm leaning trots an AU-58. The fields are in great shape, the reverse is better than the obverse. Nice luster!

AU55+ in EAC grades me thinks, I see a lot of luster hiding around the devices in the field edges. I would not be surprised to see this one make it into a MS holder at all. Beautiful little sister, and congrats on getting so close to finishing your set.

This is where I am with it, as well. You're not doing any better than this example without some serious cash outlay and some luck.
