I have noticed that when people view my Lincolns in the gallery, they seem to home in on the 1954 (S). Is there a reason for this? Is there something about this coin that I don't know. Just curious.
Has a nice red look to it maybe? The value is the same as a 54 and 54-D so that wouldn't be it. It is a nice looking cent and one of the few sets I am keeping.
Almost looks like a Proof or is it the photo? Possibly many don't know the proof was a 54 not the 54S. Also, may be checking for one of the many RPM's or doubles in the date for that year.
