It may be fake. I don't have the energy to do a side by side diagnostic but you can find such guides on-line easily. The fields are very beat up but the detail is not - bad sign.
I have had people state coins were cleaned but the reason given could have happened for some other reason. Unless it is obviously cleaned, telling if I coin has been cleaned is difficult to do sometimes. Technically soaking Indian heads on distilled water is still cleaning them although most agree this is acceptable like soaking non-copper coins in acetone.
The fields on the obverse do seem to have been cleaned at one time. Many of the edges, e.g. the rim and the eagle's outline, have dirt next to them which always makes me suspicious when the fields look pretty clean. On ebay, if the seller says, "Coin may have.... XYZ" I usually take that to mean they know for sure.
