I think it is a cliped planchet it is not gaged or rough like something that would be done by hand.

what do you sll think

I did edit the photo some to make it brighter etc.

Something I didn't know before joining this site.

From the reverse photo there looks to be a weak spot on the rim above "oF" in the legend (Blakesley effect). It is directly across from clip so I would say it is the real deal.

Not only the blakesley effect, but the devices near the clip taper off into the clip. Ground down coins don't look that way. It's real.

It is a good one. The coin is struck on an incomplete planchet. We lovingly call them clips.
