With my latest acquisition from Bigfella, I have finally completed my first set of coins. The Australian One Cent pieces. Here are the coins I just received....

Congratulations Steve.
How have you got them displayed and what would be the lowest grade coin in the set?

Muckeye, I don't have them displayed at home, they are in 2x2's stored in boxes. They are displayed in my gallery though. I am not that good at grading, so you can have look and tell me what you think, but I would say nothing less that VF.

These are some of the hardest 2c to get as they are found in sets. The 168 2c is the hardest to find a nice one.

Steve, had a look at your gallery. Very impressive but I've never tried to grade from photos/scans before. So I'm not game to offer an opinion.
In the hand with a 5X loupe I might have a go.

Triggersmob, you've inspired me to complete my 1c collection. I need 3 more dates yet, or one if for only circulation issues. I'm missing a 1990. I think I get can one locally, and when I do my 1 cent collection will also be complete. This is my first too.

Learjet, I'm glad to hear that I have inspired you. What's more I can let you have a 1990 1c if you want it. It's AUNC with some toning, but doesn't look the best because it was kept in a jar with other coins overlapping it. Hence the semi-circle lines on it.
My-First-Complete-Set.

Anyway send me an e-mail with your address if you want it.

I'll see if my mate has one first when he comes over next, but thanks for the kind offer! If I can't find one I'll let you know.
