I recently acquired a dozen or so Aussie silver coins from the 1960's that are in brilliant uncirculated condition. The coins are a beautiful silver-white colour, and I would love to keep them that way.

What method of storage is best for pre-decimal coins such as these? Any opinions? By storage I mean holders; I already know to keep them in a dry, stable environment. Air-tites? I doubt mylar 2x2s are good enough. I don't want to send them off for grading, I don't own a graded coin one (and am happy that way).

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

ElleKitty, I have found NOTHING better than an airtite to protect those coins which rank high on my list. If it is worth protecting you can do it for less than a buck with an airtite. Believe me I have tried them all!
Just a few days ago I noticed I have a coin toning in an ANACS slab and that really burns my tail, so to speak, as it is apparent airtite has beaten them all at their own game.
Rest in Peace
