A book on Max Mehl would be a fantastic read! His old office the Star Coin Company building is not too far from where I was born, I need to get over and see it while it is still standing, I'm about 60 miles away now. Love the Centennial
ANA trilogy, I just finished the History pt. II book now starting on volume one. I had to read the modern
ANA era history first as one of my best friends in coins was Stephen Taylor R.I.P. (Past
ANA President) Steve introduced me to so many greats in the
Coin World. The Anthology book just arrived this past week in the mail, thus completing the 3 book set for my library. Got all three books for under $80 shipped, I thought a good deal.
I'm working on a complete set of Bowers & Ruddy, Bowers & Merena "Rare Coin Review" catalogues - I am down to only needing around 20 or 25 issues now. Was able to add a few more needed issues from
ebay this week!
Thanks for the link, I ended up getting two of the other books this seller had listed. The Garrett Sale Part 4 (Hardbound) the only hardbound Garrett sale catalog I was missing, along with the "Medallic Portraits of Washington" book by Rulau & Fuld 2nd edition.
The Library keeps growing!
"Buy the Book Before You Buy the Coin" - Aaron R. Feldman - "And read it" - Me 2013!
