1942D Mercury dime (I don't think it's a 2 over 1!) This is one of the very first coins I ever had. It came from a tobacco tin of mixed foreign coins that my parents gave me when I started collecting around the age of 7. I suspect that they got it in change in Panama when coming back from New Zealand on a ship in the early 1950s...
