This was a great pick out of the "10 for $3" box of KGV cents some weeks ago

It seems this error has been seen before here:

I am mostly interested to know if this is a recognized variety and if it carries any extra value

Looks like doubling on the N as well.

Machine doubling. There is no premium on machine doubled coins, unless:

1. the date is clearly (strongly) doubled (some people like that)
2. all the devices are doubled on the entire side of a coin.

Otherwise, it is a conversation piece, with no real value attached to it.
