what about looking them up at Wexler or CONECA ? Those places have better writeups and pictures in my opinion.

It looks like the coin has some chatter on the field SouthWest of the "D" and it may have affected the bottom part of your "D", maybe even clipped off part of it. I cannot tell from the picture if it is a D/D/D since there seems to be some debris between the "horns and verticle bar". It looks like something is there, but I cannot make it out, without a different view or coin in hand.

The Vertical Bar is thick enough to contemplate more than one punch, but if there aren't any tell tale signs or markers to back it up, its a tough call.
