I almost see 3 lines. If they are raised (not recessed) that might be evidence of a die crack. But in my little knowledge, three of them running parallel to each other doesn't seem right. It looks like Lincoln's head is messed up a little bit. I can't tell without the pic being high-res, but that might be a lamination error. But again with the thing on his head seeming to be parallel and in line with the other scratches on the coin, my gut instinct is Post Mint Damage. Oh, I also see another scratch near the 'E' in Liberty, again parallel with the others. Makes me think that it's damage even more.

I wouldn't take my word for it though, I'd wait for others to see if there is any kind of lamination error or evidence of a die crack.

Also, if that is a die crack coming out of his mouth, IMO it's overly thick. Here is an image of what I would say a typical die crack might look like:

Lamination with what looks like some peeling on the forehead.

This is going to sound kind of weird but can you see if on the rim or edge it has both 1943 and 1944 as the date punched in...kind of curious to see if it is lamination peel or plating over another compound. Thanks I do like your coin!
