Sorry for not posting in a long time, I have been very busy. So today I stopped by my local coin shop that is on the way to my night class. They generally have a bunch of silver they sell at spot. While looking at what was new today I came across this silver quarter. It looks like the metal is flaking and at one spot a flake has come off. Since it was just a lil bit above the spot price I bought it with the hopes that this is an error and worth more than just silver price.

It is a lamination but I don't know what the value would be. Check e-Bay for sold values.

Red Book 2013 has a Lamination Error for silver 25 cent Washington quarters @ $15.00 each.
BUT, again the old adage says, a collectible is only as valuable as the collector is willing to pay for it.

I assume you are in VA since your nick starts with VA, where in VA are you - general area wise.
