2.5 grams is normal. Is there anything on the coin that should not be there? If not it maybe an over weight planchet?

Maybe a MAD or OC, need to see reverse for die alignments. Over weight planchet maybe punched from rolled thick stock? Rookies opinion(s) only, wait for an experts.

Going with MAD with a bit of collar clash. I've ran across a few myself. From what I've read the more desired ones have the devices running off the edge. As for weight still, I'm no expert, but doesn't seem way over to me, but others may know better. Thanks.

I see the obverse is slightly misaligned but since the design does not fall over the rim I think you will find it is an acceptable strike and is not enough to be considered an error coin. I don't see a collar clash. On the obverse lower right side I see some slight finning which is common in combination with the misalignment. As far as the weight it appears to be a slightly overweight planchet. Be sure to zero out your scale just to be sure it is weighing accurately.

Fisrt confirm the scale is weighing accurately. If it is then it is most likely an overweight zinc planchet. A specific gravity test would need to be conducted to confirm that.
