OK, I was reading the "is silver worth investing" thread and it got me thinking...... What is worth it?

Lets say you got $3000 to $5000 you HAVE to buy something!
If silver is no good now, what about gold?
Will gold likely hold at $1300 or go up? Or are all PMs an unknown.

I,m so dense I say silver is still a good buy. Just like the 2nd coming, no man knows the hour...... That silver will be at its lowest, so why not $19? I mean how many of us have silver picked up at $30 or even $40 an oz.?
Lets say you have $2600 to spend, that's two gold oz's or 130 silver oz's .
Lets also say that when we decide to cash in, the silver has gone up only $5 an oz...... This means that the gold would have to go up $325 an oz to keep pace. Is that reasonable?

But is gold any better?

Or is it better to buy BEANS!?

doesn't work like that, every market has it's own way of
moving, some faster than others and at different times.
the gold to silver ratio is currently ~60+, historically
at price highs it's at ~15, meaning silver can move up
faster than gold during those times

read more, palladium is currently tipped as a decent bet
if you can get in with low overheads. be prepared and decide
exactly what you want to do before jumping in.

Thank you Hawk.
But that is kinda what I'm gettin at!
It seems that even with Silver under $20 an oz, folks are bad on it.
But I would think there is a much better chance of silver going up by $5 an oz........ than Gold to go up over $325 an oz.
Just saying.......
