Going on now, I have not been yet, work and all, but hope to get there on Saturday or for sure on Sunday if Saturday is a bust for my schedule. THis show is in-between Dallas and Fort Worth in Arlington, TX.

Any CCF members planning on being there?

I went both Fri and Sat. A constant stream of people both days, although there were several empty tables and they didn't fill the space. Not sure what tomorrow will be like. As always a lot of dealer-to-dealer traffic and when a booth is one folding table with 2 to 4 display cases that can block the entire booth.

2 cases isn't enough display space, yet many wouldn't rent the extra case. Made for some over crowded spaces (a single case filled 5 deep isn't a display).

Interestingly on Saturday I found things I had missed on Friday at a couple of dealers just because they had so much stuff in a few cases you couldn't see the variety. Once they sold off the top layer there were several interesting finds.

Two additions to the slab collection - an IGA photo certificate and an INB photo case.

Unlike many shows the lighting is very good. Room was a bit cool early and warmed up as the day went on. I was comfortable, although a couple of dealer's were cold sitting directly under the vent. Luck of the draw.

Convention center food is, well convention center food. MS67+ prices for VF30 goods. Let's say a candy bar costs more than at the airport.

Well darn it, I never made the TNA show over the weekend. Thanks for the update, maybe next year. I had too much on my plate this weekend to break free for a couple hours + the 40 minute drive each way.

As to shows - I own a couple display cases for when I used to do local shows back in Colorado and in SoCal. was nice to not have to rent the cases. But I know what you mean, I hate looking at a case only to find a stack of coins in a spot, not knowing whats underneath, and the dealer is too busy to show them, so I just move on to the next table, and usually forget to go back.
