German Veterans Groups Medals Issued In USA

As a collector of pre-Nazi German military medals I also collect medals issued by German Veterans Groups here in the USA. Germans are joiners and they formed many German immigrant groups covering all types of interests; mutual aid, music, trades, social, and military veterans. They were also serious about their loyalty to America. To be a member in good standing in one of their veterans groups one had to be a US citizen or at least be in the process of becoming one. As time went on Germans and their off spring who served in the US military were also welcome members. In the sample scan here the "SF" on the left stands for San Francisco and the "NA" on the right is for North America.
