Looks like P mint mark how does the FG initials look on the reverse?
Ohhh I read that wrong! Do you mean the slight ring around the rim?

Looks to be a slight MAD but not enough to keep.May be a tapered planchet but not sure.

Looks like a slight bit of finning and not a collar clash. It is very common and not a keeper.
Good eye though and welcome to the forum.

Check the FG initials on the rear!! And irs a 1982 if its high grade its a keeper
