Well I was cleaning out my safe I came across a lot of foreign coins. unless some one can tell me what to look for on these large cents to see if any are worth anything , I want to give these to a child that might enjoy looking through them.i can ship anywhere in you S in a small flat rate box, out side you S I would need to get address to see if I can cover shipping. let me know if you know of any kid or kids that would like them..There are Australian half pennies, Canada coins, and a whole lot more from around the world.now I don't think there are any rare or valuable coins but I could be wrong.there are a lot of king george large Australian pennies from the 1930;s to 1950;s..Ausi penny 1955 with queen, new zealand penny 1940 king george, a 1941 large penny with harp on one side and bird on the other also says eire.13 1966 large pennies with queen?, 1967 with queen, 21 half pennies with boat on back, 4 Ausi half pennies from 1934-1955, and a zip lock bag with a lot of other coins. I don't collect these coins and would like to see some one get some enjoyment out of them. you can reply here. thanks

There are a couple of kids who attend the local coin club who would probably enjoy them. Shipping to Canada?

On the other hand, if you're looking for anything of value, check if any of the coins are silver. Looks like some of them are. Check for key date Canadian/Australian pennies too.

I sent a message on behalf of the kids I send coins to, but it looks like I'm not a fast enough typist.
It is very nice of you to share these coins. I figure the more kids who get interested in collecting, the more likely my collection will be enjoyed by someone someday when I am old (instead of my heirs just wondering if it has financial value)!

I like the idea of giving them to kids at a CCF stand.... I think that's a great idea!

If that doesn't pan out.. I have been contemplating putting up a table here in Winnipeg at a small bourse we have here once a month.. if nobody else takes 'em... I will be happy to pay the shipping to my address on the promise that they will be given out to kids...

This one is Irish.

Probably British.
