Hey guys this is my first post.

I was recently checking on ebay and stumbled on a seller with a wierd pic.

I think it's a fake.
Check it out.

The coin is real, however just described wrong. The coin pictured is a Peace dollar minted from 1921-1298,1934-1935.

They look like this:

ND, you made out a Peace dollar in that glare? The seller is describing Walking Lib Halves(sort of) from 1927 and 1939. Are you assuming a 1927 Peace dollar and 1939 what?(mistake on the date?) Or did I miss the whole point here!!!MikeWelcome thekidcollector!

I messed with the pic and you can see the top portion of the Peace dollar design. The lower half of the coin has way too much glare to catch a date.

I could catch enough of the pic to see that the coin pictured is a Peace dollar, but no idea if the other coin is also a misread date or another coin altogether. Neither would surprise me.

"it is a united state half dollar form 1939, it is in good shape theri is a eagle on the tales side. And their is a man holding a torch on the heads side" This is a Walking Liberty half as per the description, but there is no pic provided for the coin.

A real shame the shipping is so high. At $5 for a Peace dollar and Walker it is a good deal. Once you add the shipping though, it is best case scenerio OKAY.
Now that is based solely on "Silver".
Rest in Peace

He is describing Walking Libs on both coins....

Description

it is a united state half dollar form 1939, it is in good shape theri is a eagle on the tales side. And their is a man holding a torch on the heads side. We also have anothe one that is the same from the year 1927. Both do not need to be sold as as et but it would be ideal to sell both at once they are starting the biding at ive dollars a peice.

Yeah I know. Maybe the Peace dollar pictured is another coin that will be sold later. At least with the high shipping, there should not be many bidders.

It should be obvious to all that these are fake demo coins
But the vendor does not mention this at all
So for the visually challenged or coin challenged persons
this may be a danger unless they cannot read in which case it
would not have mattered ommitting copy or fake or demo
