persistnt Pillar of the Community Canada 726 Posts	Posted 05/25/2014 10:10 pm I think older Cu-Ni coins lack luster.although I also find they are foreign coins..Some say no luster is also one of many sign's that coin is counterfeit.... Coin Scavenger Valued Member Canada 444 Posts	Posted 05/25/2014 10:33 pm I'm new to coin photography, but I find that if your photos show luster, you can't see the details.
