114 day newbie here.............

Was there two DIFFERENT 1972 Type 2 Ike dollars?

I am reading about 1972 TYPE 2 Eisenhower dollars.

One minted (MAYBE) in March?

The other minted in (MAYBE) May?

The Type 3 Ikes I have are clear enough to CAT them. MOSTLY.

Same for most of the Type one. MOSTLY

I save all 1972 (P), and just Tube 'em.

The *darn Earth* is so small, and my eyes are poooooor.

I am still able to get bags, (SLOWLY). And found a new way to get the {order} time expedited.

I have started to STACK tube the Type one, and Type three in a different Tubes.

That leave the rest. Problem for me is the rest don't all look the same.

Back to the original thought. Was there two "different" dates, (and Maybe) two different designs for 1972 (P) Type two Coins?

Thanks for any help.

As I hear it, T2 1972's were only one die, which was a Proof-only die which accidentally made it into Business Strike production. As to timing, I can't say, although I'd expect it to have happened earlier than later.
