once in a while I have a coin that goes for more than what I thought it should go for and once again here is another example http://www.ebay.com/itm/26148590796....m1555.l2649
i dont believe this is any variety, do you see something I might have missed? thanks

Looks like two users are having a bidding war here. Although if they're thinking that if it's a Obverse 1 in EF then the bidding isn't unrealistic.

Sometimes people just get caught up in a bidding war. I once sold a circulated 1967 quarter for $22. Two people just kept outbidding each other

Bidding war- the best reason not to bid too far in advance.

The first 8 in the date looks like a 3, but a quick search doesn't show this as a variation.
