Australian dollar coin still has some original lustre over missing Roo arms & tail on left side of coin. Under 10x mag seems genuine mint fault ?.

Looks like there's doubling everywhere. As for the arms and tail its from a Grease Filled Die.

I'm thinking PMD myself. Especially if it's "lustrous" there on that spot, and nowhere else. I'm also noting that there seems to be a patch of missing toning right there at that spot. If I was given this coin in change, I'd assume a grinder or some high-powered electric tool had touched the coin at that spot, grinding just a little bit away.

Sap ; Same patch above the large Roos ears and right of it's neck and around the $1 sign. The Roo with arms missing has a area of detail missing under it's head just above the top of arms (neck area)

I've looked at the coin under different light conditions and magnifications, I honestly think your on the wrong track Sap, with respect.
