Hello all. I have been playing with my NIkon, and starting to get better heres a few pictures to show my progress... I am going to be honest. The amount of light required for this really shocked me. Ill post several over the next few days for the experts to critique

Your first two images suggest to me that you need to take "white balance" into consideration.
