Does this 1879 S have double legs or no? I put it on ebay and don't know the grade or anything. Went to other ebay auctions and ran across a double leg and now I'm wondering if this one I'm selling has a double leg?

Not a chance of telling from such a small image. Why do you feel that doubled legs is an important feature? I'm aware of no 1879-S VAMs noted for leg doubling.

I'm sorry, I thought you could zoom in. I'm using cell phone to take pics and post on here and I thought you could zoom in. This forum won't take my original pics because it says it's too large so I resize them and use that. I listed this coin on ebay using original pics, I can't post a link tho. If double legs don't increase value then I'm not worried. PCGS has a graded coin that says double legs so I thought it was a bonus. Lol

How do you run across my listing when I don't post a link? Wow! To answer your question I listed for 1 day for a couple of reasons. I'm actually trying out one day, 3-7 day and buy it now to see which one works best. If you look at all my past items, you'll see I've tried them all. Honestly the 3-7 day auctions bother me tremendously. I noticed the other day ebay has an option where you can get a notification when an item lists on a particular item. I also noticed that coin collectors/buyers really know what they are looking for and know the fair market value and "most" are trying to get it below that amount, much much lower if possible, I'm sure. The high big spenders get caught up in the thrill of who will be the winner, so to speak. I'm not in the business to make money- (although it's nice) I only sell with expectations of selling at a fair price. There is a lot of traffic and coin shoppers on ebay and a 1-day auction seems suffice. 3 or more days feels like I'm fishing in hopes for that "big fish" to come by and outbid (snatch the bait) from someone. Like I said, I'm not in the coin business. :)

It seems to be kind of intuitive that if you only list for one day, far fewer buyers have the chance to see your item. Not everybody can get to ebay every day. Based on the 4th image (the second reverse image), the legs aren't doubled. Doubling noticeably thickens them and yours look like the right thickness.

Your silver eagles seem to be doing well but I'm not sure of their value as I only buy one per year of the absolute cheapest I can find. Just for the bullion. I cruise ebay quite a bit and saw and recognized your bust half. How did you come up with Shamm for a seller name ? Shamm seems like it would make one think lol.

Those Morgans don't seem to be doing too well on your listings. The highest is $22 and there's only 14h left. Of course, lots of listings kick in with a few hours left

And actually, I have a suggestion.
Those Morgans look in exceptional condition, possibly some MS65 or MS66. Sending them to PCGS or NGC would likely be worth your time and money because that would reassure a LOT of people. You could make a lot more money.
Edit: 1879-Os get pretty pricy in MS and PL grades. 1879-Ss get a few hundred in MS66 and over a hundred in MS65 grades. I would hate to see your coins go for a tenth of what you could make!

Crusinfusion, these raw coins on ebay I'm selling are ones a buyer made me feel I was being taken advantage of, so I pulled them out of the collection when selling. We would have a huge discrepancy on grade (his tactic in convincing me why I should sell it at his offer price) he always fell back on the infamous "I tell you what, I'll pay to have them graded and you'll see it won't make grade. They will return it" or "how about you pay me so and so ($5.00 more than whatever it was he offered at that time) and I'll sell it to you" but then when I say "never mind,I'll keep it" he would then increase his offer a bit because he still wanted them. As far as these Morgans, his offer was 40.00! Even if I get less than 40.00 on ebay it makes me feel better selling to someone else. I wasn't sure if grade myself and I felt he was using a tactic to low ball me. He was already buying everything at 15% under grey sheet prices- I wasn't going to argue with him with over grade too. Not that I knew or was sure----I just didn't know. That's why I decided to put on ebay.

Oh. No, I wouldn't sell them for $40. That's MS62 money.

I hate this situation I'm in. It's an injustice to my aunt and I can't get her to understand the potential for her but it's not my collection so not my choice or final say so. She did give me free reign to pull back on some to sell online but sad thing is her husband collected and hoarded so much mid to high grade stuff, I can't sell them all online. Two Redfield GSA's sold for way under and it's sickening. I guess I like the story behind it and maybe I just think they are worth more. Lol
