Hi everybody! new member here!
I recently acquired these two coins.
I would like to know more regarding their age and origin and whether its real or fake! I know the top one is Hellenistic for sure!

The pictures were taken by an Iphone so I had to slightly darken the color on photoshop to get the details out..only minor image edits

any help would be great! Thank you!

They look real, second coin has the most fabulous colours.

I am rubbish at reading/interpretting greek letters, but wildwinds has a partial word search you could try. Sometimes you have to leave spaces in the letters and it can be trial and error.

There is also one on forvmancientcoins here

And acsearch can be good

My first thought that the bottom one was Phillip I. The other guys will be along later....

The first coin appears to be from Phoenicia with the bust of Tyche. I can't quite make out the reverse though.

The second is a Roman provincial of believe the emperor Antoninus Pius.

Thank you for the welcome! So this is a Phoenician coin not a Hellenistic one? I forgot to mention that they were found in Lebanon..there seems to be some sort of writings underneath of what looks like to be a boat.. I can't tell if it's Phoenician or Greek
