Thank you. I was hoping, looking at that "S" that may be there is a chance. Wrong again. Sorry. But I looked at many 1979 pennies and MD like this, even it has no great value, is rare. thanks.

When we first start collecting coins we find certain ones that look different and we set them aside. After a few weeks, months or even years we later realize they are common. So while out new finds that first discover seem important then, after we have been doing it for a while, then we realize later how common they are later so. So if you find them interesting, same them into a tube. I made the mistake of putting them in 2X2s to only realize this fact later on. Now I have a three ring binder of stuff that I saved and now realize I wasted 4 cents per coin to preserve coins that are only worth one cent. I still save interesting coins into tubes. In case someone has a question on them. I have about 15 tubes labeled that keeps them sorted for quick study. I just save the real extreme ones. The rest I through back or save for wheat cents or for copper. It is like as a kid we find something interesting to collect, like a piece of colored glass. But as were grow older we realize that it is interesting, but later on discover that is all it was at the time.
